I’m working hard to get a nice index page up so that clients can see our hosting packages, announcements, and promotions on the home page. The client area will then be secondary.

I’m kind of stuck right now in the setup process. I need to figure out how I’m going to integrate billing, etc. into the hosting homepage, but it looks like the best way is out of my budget (WHMCS). I’m trying to customize a free CMS (Joomla) but it’s taking a while.

Starting Off

First week open, first hosted account, first blog–lots of firsts for me this week.

Current objectives:

  • Finish site design
  • Finish transferring accounts to server
  • Figure out what to do with my old sites
  • Get an SSL subscription, probably from GoDaddy
  • Acquire a few more clients

Achieved:

  • Get a domain (CrystalFulcrum.com)
  • Start a webhosting business
  • Transfer some sites over
